A practice built at the intersection of legal systems and disciplines.

Filippo M. Cinotti founded Cinotti LLP after practicing in the corporate and tax departments of white-shoe Debevoise & Plimpton LLP in New York. He holds two graduate law degrees from New York University School of Law, including an LL.M. in Taxation from one of the country's top-ranked tax programs. For more than two decades, he has built a multidisciplinary international practice spanning company formation, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and real estate funds, and cross-border transactions.

His experience includes land and commercial and industrial real estate acquisitions, development and leasing, design and construction agreements, and the structuring and negotiation of tax incentives connected with the establishment and expansion of manufacturing facilities. He integrates corporate, real estate and tax principles to address the legal and commercial components of each transaction as a whole.

His clients include governmental institutions, banks, and privately held and family-owned groups in food, fashion, design and furniture, and industrial machinery. Many are Italian and European companies establishing or expanding their operations in the United States.

He provides services through Cinotti International LLC, the affiliated Puerto Rico office.
